The Hippy Market just outside the centre of San Carlos was alot bigger than I had anticipated. We’d heard that the largest of the Markets was in Es Cana but that it only operated on Wednesdays, the smaller market in San Carlos was still of a reasonable size with between 60 to 100 stalls selling all sorts of trinkets, jewllery and clothing items as well as various food and drink stalls. The colours and the smells of this place were amazing and it was a gem to photograph. We only had a quick look around and stopped off for a drink of blended ice tea but I still managed to bag a few good shots. This was one of my favourites of a jewellery stall, taken handheld and made from 3 exposures merged in Photomatix.
