  • After a week of use I can say that the camera has lived up to my expectations and I have come to use the Isux 970 more than I anticipated. As with every compact you will never have the control and capabilities of an SLR but the compact has some nifty little features which make it an essential piece of my kit back now. Firstly the face detection is fantastic, I have used it on a number of occasions in various different lighting conditions and it has been pretty responsive all round. The image stabilisation is fair for a compact camera of this cost. Features wise it is jam packed and I often find myself a little over whelmed but there is alot to be said for the range of controls this camera offers.
